The Soundview house is a newly constructed home located in Peconic, New York, with a breathtaking view of the Long Island Sound. The guiding principle throughout the design process was to maximize the views of the water and sky by creating a centralized double-height living space. All bedrooms on the second floor have views of the water or the farm fields. The exterior design incorporates several seating nooks, perfect for both entertaining by the new pool and quiet moments.

A limited palette of interior materials was carefully selected to elevate the beach aesthetic. The use of select moldings and a generous amount of millwork gives the walls more depth and warmth. The kitchen and bathrooms feature veined marble and natural wood to create movement and add visual interest.
